Diagnosis

We utilise industry standard behavioural support toolsets (such as DISC) and we also develop and utilise our own tools such as Suitability© to Collaborate, a validated psychometric unique in the market in looking specifically at team and individual’s propensity to collaborate. We bring together all of our diagnosis techniques, toolsets and approaches under the banner of Activate©.

Activate©. Activate© is our diagnostic approach that employs a range of quantitative and qualitative tools. It generates information in the behavioural/cultural, process and commercial dimensions. In confidential individual interviews (or online using our Activate© Lite), it uses Likert scales (quantitative), visual stimuli and anecdotes/stories to generate richer data. Crucially it prompts personal reflections on the respondents own and team performance. Activate© generates a powerful and relevant confidential data set that we use to tailor and focus our support and engagement.

Suitability© to Collaborate: The Suitability© to Collaborate (StC) model incorporates 7 facets that relate to collaborative working. StC is a validated psychometric developed by Advance and Nottingham University to assess the collaborative propensity of team members and of teams. We use it to provide direct feedback to key individuals and teams and to provide a baseline for high performing collaborative teams.

Sociogram©. Sociogram© is an interaction mapping process we use to support teams and team development. Looking at the dynamic interaction between individuals in a team environment, the output supports team development and self-awareness.

Strategic Delivery Assurance (SDA©)

To support complex projects and programmes to gain confidence in their outputs and to manage risks at a strategic level we deploy Strategic Delivery Assurance (SDA©) which comprises three elements – Strategic Target Analysis (STA), Strategic Assumption Analysis (SAA) and Risk Review Boards (RRB). SDA© has been utilised in a wide range of sectors from transport and infrastructure through to IT and Financial Services and has an established track record of providing valid and reliable assessment of programme completion confidence as well as providing a methodology to manage complex and strategic risks and assumptions to drive completion dates.

We continually look at the market and are aware of and have worked with a number of different toolsets and techniques. We operate with a core set of tools as part of our offering as we believe they offer the best combined results in support of our client’s outcomes. However, we are always able to work with and support teams who already have an existing corporate approach.
